SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE ‘BEST NIGHT EVER’ OUTFIT COMPETITION ON ASOS FASHION FINDER

Note: These special terms and conditions override the competition general terms and conditions if there is any conflict between them.
No purchase necessary to enter.  A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

COMPETITION DATES:
The competition opens at 09.00 (GMT) on 16 November and closes midnight (GMT) on 16 December 2012.

THE CRITERIA: 
To enter, please go to http://fashionfinder.asos.com/competitions/Best-Night-Ever-Party-Outfit-Competition-61.  Participants must create an outfit inspired by your ‘Best Night Ever’ party outfit and style inspiration; adding your own personal touch and trend-led inspiration. Each outfit must be given a title and description that explains the personal interpretation you have given the outfit.  Each competition entry must include one item from the competition collection, which can be found in the outfit builder via the above competition link.

If we love it, you could be in with a chance of winning one of the following prizes:
1st £300 ASOS voucher 
2nd £150 ASOS voucher
3rd £50 ASOS voucher

PRIZES:
The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize, and the prize is not transferable.
Gift vouchers cannot be used on ASOS Marketplace, ASOS Fashion Finder, to purchase ASOS Premier or on delivery charges.
The Gift vouchers will be issued in GBP, and the exchange rate that will apply will be determined by ASOS on the day the voucher is issued. 
The winners will have 12 months from the date the voucher is issued to redeem the value. If they do not redeem the voucher within that time it will expire and cannot be reissued.

All prize winners will be contacted by ASOS via the email address registered to their ASOS Fashion Finder account. Vouchers will be sent via the email address registered to the winners ASOS Fashion Finder account by ASOS Customer Care Team. Winners will be contacted within 48 hours after the competition closes with details of their prize.

JUDGING 1ST & 2ND & OVERALL PRIZES: 
All entries received by midnight on 16 December 2012 will go through a shortlist process conducted by the Fashion Finder Team.  1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be chosen by a judging panel consisting of Fashion Finder Editorial Co-ordinator Nagar Ghahreman, Brand Manager Jemma Pronger, Community Co-ordinator Stacey Malvern and an independent judge.

EXTRA NOTES ON ELIGIBILITY
Unfortunately due to local laws residents of Italy and Spain are not eligible to enter this competition.   
ASOS staff and affiliated agencies are not permitted to enter this competition.
You must be 16 years or older to be eligible for this competition. 
By entering and/or accepting the prize, Entrants and winner agree to hold ASOS and its promotional partners, directors, officers, and employees harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property, relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, participation in this Contest, the acceptance and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prize, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the Entrant ineligible. ASOS, in its sole discretion, reserves the immediate and unrestricted right to disqualify any Entrant or prize winner if either commits or has committed any act or has been involved or becomes involved in any situation or occurrence which ASOS deems likely to subject ASOS, Entrant, or winner to ridicule, scandal, or contempt or which reflects unfavorably upon ASOS in any way. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of completion or running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, ASOS reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. ELIGIBILITY:

This competition is valid in all countries where it is legally permissible. If you are 18 years or over and are not an employee including contract and agency staff or agent of ASOS (or the employee’s or agent’s family), then you can enter this competition. We may ask for proof of age or identity at the finalist stage, just to be sure. Using false details will result in disqualification.

There is no purchase necessary. If you do not already have a Fashion Finder member’s account you will be asked to join, which only takes a few seconds. As this is an online competition, it is necessary for you to have access to the Internet and to have an active email address.

It is possible to enter more than once if you are feeling creative, but please be aware that you cannot win more than one prize level within each competition. By submitting your entry, you warrant that your entry is an original work, belongs to you and has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entity.

JUDGING:

Most of our competitions are open to subjective interpretation, therefore they will be judged by an independent judge or a panel including one independent judge. In these cases all entries received by the closing date stated on the promotional material will normally go through a shortlist process and the winners will be selected from the shortlist by the judge(s).

If we run a competition with a prize draw, then winners will be selected from all the valid qualifying entries by a random draw.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize, and the prize is non-transferable.

WINNERS:

You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. We will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact you. In some circumstances you will need to provide a valid delivery address in order to receive your prize.

If you are a potential winner, we will contact you at the email address you provided and/or through the Fashion Finder messaging service within 7 days of the closing date of the competition, and may ask you to verify your personal details. If you have not replied within 48 hours or you do not meet the eligibility requirements we mentioned above, we reserve the right to withdraw a potential prize.

PRIZES:

Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative except at the sole discretion of ASOS.

Prizes are subject to availability and may also be subject to a sponsor’s or supplier’s terms and conditions, which will be communicated in the competition promotional material. We reserve the right to amend prizes or the terms of the competition if the need arises.

In the case where event tickets are awarded as a prize, it is not possible to sell or give these on to a third party. Unless otherwise stated, travel and/or accommodation will not be provided for the event. If you are unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited and retained to be distributed to the next placed entry.

If your prize involves travelling to another country, it is your responsibility to arrange visas if necessary. We do not have any information on travel visas, nor will we become involved in the arrangement of these.
