Competition Terms & Conditions

*** Terms and Conditions ***

* This Competition and Promotion are valid where legally permissible.

*This sales promotion includes 2 distinct entry elements to enter to win 2 different categories of prizes:
1.	one of which includes no element of chance to win but is a skills based promotion where the entries will be judged in order to win first, second or third place and which is referred to as “the Competition” and for which there are 3 prizes, 
2.	and the other of which includes no element of chance to win but is a skills based promotion where the entries will be judged in order to win a daily prize (Monday to Friday only) and which is referred to as “the Promotion”.

*Eligibility to enter the Competition

The Competition and Promotion are only open for entry to residents of the UK.  Internet access is required.

*Entrants to the Competition and the Promotion must be over 18 years of age. No entrant may win more than one prize

* Entry to the Competition and the Promotion excludes employees and agents (or families of such employees or agents) of ASOS or anyone else connected with the administration of the competition.

*No purchase is required to enter the Competition or the Promotion. No applications from organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.  No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted.  Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all the entry instructions.

* Entry to the Competition is through completing the following steps:
1. Entrant will select one of the 4 following Toni&Guy hair styling pillars: Classic, Casual, Glamour and Creative 
2. Entrant will then create a ‘Hair, Meet Wardrobe’ Fashion Finder Outfit that includes both hair and fashion 
3: Entrant should then give their Outfit a title and then submit.

* The Competition begins at 12pm (London Time) on 7th November 2011 and closes at 12pm (London time) on 4th December 2011. You may enter as many times as you like.

* Competition Prize: * A member of the ASOS Fashion Finder team and Bridget O’Lone  (Global Brand Manager) from Toni&Guy and a member of the ASOS Studio Styling team will judge all valid Competition entries the next UK working day following the close of the Competition, basing their decision on creative fashion style and interpretation of the Toni&Guy hair styling pillars in equal parts, and will select a first prize, second prize and third prize winner that they consider to have posted the best outfits according to these criteria.

* The Competition prizes shall consist of the following:

First Prize – A styling experience to take place at ASOS HQ, Greater London House, Hampstead Road, London NW1 7FB during the months of December 2011 to March 2012, by pre-arranged appointment using the contact details provided at the time of notification that you have won. The winner is responsible for their own transport costs to and from the venue where the styling experience will be held. The styling experience will consist of a personal hair styling experience provided by Toni&Guy plus an ASOS fashion styling experience provided by ASOS.com Limited and will take approximately 3 hours. In addition the first prize winner will receive £300 of ASOS vouchers to spend with ASOS and Toni&Guy haircare products to the value of £50.

The styling experience will be recorded and the winner will receive a copy of images and / or a film of this but grant ASOS and Toni&Guy full and unrestricted rights to use, royalty-free, any pictures, recordings including sound or film taken of you, together with your name and any comments made by you concerning the Competition or the Operators and their respective products , including (without limitation) in advertising featuring commercial partners of ASOS and Toni&Guy or social media worldwide. Acceptance of a prize may be subject to your agreement to a further licence or permission document if ASOS and Toni&Guy Great Britain deem it necessary.

Second prize - £150 ASOS voucher to spend with ASOS together with Toni&Guy styling products to the value of £30 as selected for the winner by Toni & Guy.

Third Prize - £100 ASOS vouchers to spend with ASOS together with Toni & Guy styling products to the value of £30 as selected for the winner by Toni & Guy.

* You may spend the voucher as you wish on ASOS so long as the voucher is valid. ASOS will send you the vouchers by email within 48 hours following receipt from you of any details we request when notifying you that you have won a prize. However if this falls on a weekend or a bank or public holiday in the UK then ASOS will send you the vouchers on the next working day.

*Please note that the vouchers CANNOT be used to purchase items from ASOS Marketplace or gift vouchers or be applied against shipping or delivery charges and they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Vouchers must be redeemed before their expiry date which will be clearly communicated to you when the vouchers are sent to you.

Those entrants who have won Toni&Guy hair styling products will receive these via post within 28 days of their entry being selected.

*Entry to the Promotion is through completing the following:
1.	Entrant will select one of the 4 following Toni&Guy hair styling collections: Classic, Casual, Glamour and Creative 
2.	Entrant will then create a ‘Hair Meet Wardrobe’ Fashion Finder Outfit that includes both hair and fashion and a Toni&Guy hair styling product
3.	Entrant should then give their Outfit a title and then submit.

* The Promotion will run daily Monday to Friday only for the duration of the Competition and each day’s Promotion will close at midnight (London time). You may enter as many times as you like and entries received after midnight each day (Monday to Friday only) will be automatically rolled over into the following day’s Promotion. Final entries for the Promotion must have been received by 12pm (midnight) on 4th December 2011 in order to be eligible for entry into the last daily Promotion.

Promotion Prize:
* A member of the ASOS Fashion Finder team will judge all valid Promotion entries the next UK working day following the daily close of the Promotion, basing their decision on creative fashion style and interpretation of the Toni and Guy new hair trends in equal parts, and will select 1 winner a day that they consider to have posted the best statements according to these criteria.

*The daily (Monday to Friday only) Promotion prize shall consist of Toni & Guy styling products to the value of £7 as selected for the winner by Toni & Guy.

Those entrants who have won Toni&Guy hair styling products will receive these via post within 28 days of their entry being selected.

Notification of Winners
*Winners for both the Competition and the Promotion will be notified by email or through a message on Twitter within 24 hours of the draw or judging taking place. If you enter with a Twitter @username and you are not already following @asos on Twitter, you give us permission to post a public tweet to your @username for us to direct you to follow us so that we can start a Direct Message session with you to get your details privately and award you your prize.

* If you do not reply to an email or a Direct Message on Twitter, or an @username message on Twitter within 72 hours of us sending it, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and offer it to  a substitute winner. ASOS shall not be liable for any delay or failure of any email or message communication or failure of the Twitter platform.

* If you take part in the Competition or the Promotion, you agree your details will be published as a prize winner on the ASOS and Toni&Guy social media pages.

General
* The Competition and Promotion are operated by ASOS.com Limited, Greater London House, Hampstead Road, London, NW1 7FB  and Toni & Guy, Unilever UK Central Resources Limited of Unilever House, 100 Victoria Embankment, London, EC4Y 0DY (together the “Operators”). Data Controller ASOS.com limited.  
*For the avoidance of doubt to the extent that any intellectual property rights (including without limitation copyright and design rights) exist in any of the entries entrants hereby assign any such rights existing anywhere in the world whether existing now or in the future to ASOS.

* Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.  Proof of sending will not be deemed proof of receipt. 
* By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes of the administration and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.

* The Operators’ decision is final and judicial review is not possible. No correspondence will be entered into. No cash alternative is available. The prize(s) only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize(s).  In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Operators reserves the right to substitute any prize(s) for alternative one(s) of equal or greater value.

* The Operators will store your email address in connection with this Competition and Promotion solely for the purpose of drawing and notifying the winner(s).

* This Competition and Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter. ELIGIBILITY:

This competition is valid in all countries where it is legally permissible. If you are 18 years or over and are not an employee including contract and agency staff or agent of ASOS (or the employee’s or agent’s family), then you can enter this competition. We may ask for proof of age or identity at the finalist stage, just to be sure. Using false details will result in disqualification.

There is no purchase necessary. If you do not already have a Fashion Finder member’s account you will be asked to join, which only takes a few seconds. As this is an online competition, it is necessary for you to have access to the Internet and to have an active email address.

It is possible to enter more than once if you are feeling creative, but please be aware that you cannot win more than one prize level within each competition. By submitting your entry, you warrant that your entry is an original work, belongs to you and has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entity.

JUDGING:

Most of our competitions are open to subjective interpretation, therefore they will be judged by an independent judge or a panel including one independent judge. In these cases all entries received by the closing date stated on the promotional material will normally go through a shortlist process and the winners will be selected from the shortlist by the judge(s).

If we run a competition with a prize draw, then winners will be selected from all the valid qualifying entries by a random draw.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize, and the prize is non-transferable.

WINNERS:

You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. We will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact you. In some circumstances you will need to provide a valid delivery address in order to receive your prize.

If you are a potential winner, we will contact you at the email address you provided and/or through the Fashion Finder messaging service within 7 days of the closing date of the competition, and may ask you to verify your personal details. If you have not replied within 48 hours or you do not meet the eligibility requirements we mentioned above, we reserve the right to withdraw a potential prize.

PRIZES:

Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative except at the sole discretion of ASOS.

Prizes are subject to availability and may also be subject to a sponsor’s or supplier’s terms and conditions, which will be communicated in the competition promotional material. We reserve the right to amend prizes or the terms of the competition if the need arises.

In the case where event tickets are awarded as a prize, it is not possible to sell or give these on to a third party. Unless otherwise stated, travel and/or accommodation will not be provided for the event. If you are unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited and retained to be distributed to the next placed entry.

If your prize involves travelling to another country, it is your responsibility to arrange visas if necessary. We do not have any information on travel visas, nor will we become involved in the arrangement of these.

If your prize involves attending an event, be aware that unless otherwise stated we accept no responsibility for the organisation or monitoring of the event. We shall not be liable for any event that is cancelled by a third party. If you do attend an event as part of a prize, you are attending it in your personal capacity and not as an employee, agent, or representative of ASOS.

If you are awarded ASOS vouchers as a prize, you will need to sign up to an ASOS.com account (if you do not already have one), so that we can credit you with the voucher amount. Please note that although this is an international competition the vouchers will be allotted in Pounds Sterling. Due to exchange rates this voucher will be worth the equivalent Pounds Sterling amount in your local currency on ASOS.com on the date you spend your voucher; you may wish to set your currency to GBP in order to get the full value. You may spend the voucher value as you wish on ASOS.com, as long as the voucher is valid, but it cannot be used against purchases made on Marketplace or on other retailers on Fashion Finder.
