Competition Terms & Conditions

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR LOVING YOUR STYLE OUTFIT COMPETITION

Note:  These special terms and conditions override the competition general terms and conditions if there is any conflict between them.

COMPETITION DATES: 
This competition opens at 09:00 (BST) on 3rd October and closes midnight on 30th October 2011 (GMT).

THE CRITERIA: 
Translate 4 key A/W ‘11 trends by adding your own unique fashion spin. The 4 key trends to focus on for this competition are:

-	Heritage
-	Power Jumpers
-	Mod Squad 
-	Pencil Skirts & Pussy Bows

For further explanation of these trends please visit our Loving Your Style hub (www.asos.com/dietcoke)

To enter the competition, put together an outfit focusing on one of the 4 highlighted trends above and then add your own personal touch. Each outfit must be given a title. In addition, each entrant must give a description of their outfit that explains their personal interpretation they have given the trend. If we love it, you could be in with a chance of winning one of the following prizes:

- 1 x 1st Prize: £300 of ASOS vouchers
- 1 x 2nd Prize: £150 of ASOS vouchers
- 1 x People’s Choice prize: £150 of ASOS vouchers
- 20 x Daily Prizes of £100 worth of ASOS products tailored by us to your outfit design (Monday - Friday only)

On top of that, one winning outfit will be selected by the Fashion Finder team every day (Monday to Friday)  to sit on the competition page of our Loving Your Style microsite (www.asos.com/dietcoke) with the creator winning up to £100 worth of ASOS product tailored by us to the outfit they have created.

The competition will be judged on the criteria that the entrant has understood the highlighted A/W'11 fashion trends and translated it to be unique to them.

JUDGING & PRIZES:
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize.

All prize winners will be contacted by ASOS via the email address registered to their ASOS Fashion Finder account.

JUDGING 1ST & 2ND OVERALL PRIZES: 
All entries received by midnight on 30th October 2011 will go through a shortlist process (shortlisted outfits will be selected by the ASOS Fashion Finder editorial team). The winners will be selected from the shortlist by a judging panel comprised of the Fashion Finder editorial team, Coca Cola and an independent representative.

JUDGING THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE PRIZE:
The People’s Choice Prize winner will be the creator of the outfit that receives the most Fashion Finder ‘loves’ during the competition period, 3rd October – 30th October 2011. In the event of tie (in which 2 or more outfits receive the same number of ‘loves’), the judges shall have the discretion to decide which of these outfits should be awarded the People’s Choice Prize.

JUDGING DAILY PRIZES (MONDAY - FRIDAY): 
The daily competitions will be judged by the Fashion Finder editorial team and announced on the ASOS ‘Loving Your Style’ competition microsite on the following day. The daily competitions will also be judged on the criteria that the entrant has understood the highlighted A/W'11 fashion trends and then translated it to be personal to them. The daily prize competition runs Monday to Friday there will be no winners on Saturday or Sunday. The daily prize winners will be contacted by the end of the week with details of their prize.

EXTRA NOTES ON ELIGIBILITY
You must be a UK resident.

Diet Coke staff and agencies are not permitted to enter this competition.

COMPETITION GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Competition details on the promotional material and competition details page form part of the terms and conditions, such as prizes, starting and ending dates, and any special entry criteria or prize conditions.

ELIGIBILITY:

This competition is valid in all countries where it is legally permissible. If you are 18 years or over and are not an employee or agent of ASOS.com (or the employee’s or agent’s family), then you can enter this competition. We may ask for proof of age or identity at the finalist stage, just to be sure. Using false details will result in disqualification.

There is no purchase necessary. If you don’t already have a Fashion Finder member’s account you’ll be asked to join, which only takes a few seconds. If you would like to know more about what happens to your data when you join Fashion Finder, then please see the ASOS privacy policy (link can be found in the footer).

If you are already a member of Fashion Finder, you’ll be asked to log in to your account as part of the entry process.

As this is an online competition, it is necessary for you to have access to the internet and to have an active email address.

It is possible to enter more than once if you’re feeling creative, but please be aware that you cannot win more than one prize level within each competition. By submitting your entry, you warrant that your entry is an original work, belongs to you and has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entity.

JUDGING:

Most of our competitions are open to subjective interpretation, therefore they will be judged by an independent judge or a panel including one independent judge. In these cases all entries received by the closing date stated on the promotional material will normally go through a shortlist process and the winners will be selected by the judge(s) from the shortlist.

If we run a competition with a prize draw, then winners will be selected from all the valid qualifying entries by a random draw.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize.

WINNERS:

You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. We will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact you. In some circumstances you will need to provide a valid delivery address in order to receive your prize.

If you are a potential winner, we will contact you at the email address you provided and/or through the Fashion Finder messaging service within 7 days of the closing date of the competition, and may ask you to verify your personal details. If you have not replied within 48 hours or you don’t meet the eligibility requirements we mentioned above, we reserve the right to withdraw a potential prize.

PRIZES:

Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative except at the sole discretion of ASOS.

Prizes are subject to availability and may be subject to a sponsor’s or supplier’s terms and conditions, which will be communicated in the competition promotional material. We reserve the right to amend prizes or the terms of the competition if the need arises.

In the case where event tickets are awarded as a prize, it is not possible to sell or give these on to a third party. Unless otherwise stated, travel and/or accommodation will not be provided for the event. If you are unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited and retained to be distributed to the next placed entry.

If your prize involves travelling to another country, it is your responsibility to arrange visas if necessary. We do not have any information on travel visas, nor will we become involved in the arrangement of these.

If your prize involves attending an event, be aware that unless otherwise stated we accept no responsibility for the organisation or monitoring of the event. We shall not be liable for any event that is cancelled by a third party. If you do attend an event as part of a prize, you are attending it in your personal capacity and not as an employee, agent, or representative of ASOS.com.

If you are awarded ASOS vouchers as a prize, you will need to sign up to an ASOS.com account (if you don’t already have one), so that we can credit you with the voucher amount. Please note that although this is an international competition the vouchers will be allotted in Pounds Sterling. Due to exchange rates this voucher will be worth the equivalent Pounds Sterling amount in your local currency on ASOS.com on the date you spend your voucher; you may wish to set your currency to GBP in order to get the full value. You may spend the voucher value as you wish on ASOS.com, as long as the voucher is valid, but it cannot be used against purchases made on Marketplace or on other retailers on Fashion Finder.
