Competition Terms & Conditions

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR STYLING IT WITH BLOGLOVIN’ AND ASOS FASHION FINDER.
Note: These special terms and conditions override the competition general terms and conditions if there is any conflict between them.

COMPETITION DATES: 
This competition opens at 17:00 (GMT) on 9 March and closes midnight (GMT) on 8 April 2012.
Short list judging opens 09.00 (GMT) on 10 April and closes midnight (GMT) on 15 April 2012.

THE CRITERIA: 
To enter the competition upload a Look of yourself wearing an outfit inspired by the new S/S’12 trends; adding your own personal touch and trend-led inspiration. Each Look must be given a title and description that explains the personal interpretation you have given the outfit. If we love it, you could be in with a chance of winning one of the following prizes:
- 1 x 1st Prize:  £500 ASOS shopping vouchers plus an editorial feature on the ASOS Fashion Finder.
- 1 x 2nd Prize: £250 ASOS shopping vouchers
- 1 x 3rd Prize: £150 ASOS shopping vouchers
The competition will be judged on the criteria that the entrant has understood the theme and translated it to be unique to them. 
To enter you must add your blog details to your Fashion Finder profile. All entries without a valid blog link on their profile will be removed from consideration during the shortlist process.

PRIZES:
The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize.
All prize winners will be contacted by ASOS via the email address registered to their ASOS Fashion Finder account.

JUDGING 1ST & 2ND & 3RD PRIZES: 
All entries received by midnight on 8th April will go through a shortlist process. Shortlisted outfits will be selected by the ASOS Fashion Finder editorial team, a member of BlogLovin’ and an independent judge. A shortlist of ten entries will then be judged by the Fashion Finder community for one week. The entry with the most ‘loves’ at the end of the week will be placed first, the entry with the second highest amount of ‘loves’ will be placed second and the entry with the third highest amount of ‘loves’ will be placed third. A ‘love’ is classed as a vote on ASOS Fashion Finder, using the ‘love’ button on the page displaying the shortlisted entries. 
It will neither be possible in this voting process for shortlisted entrants to ‘love’ their own entry, nor for Fashion Finder community members to ‘love’ more than one shortlisted entry.
If for whatever reason the highest voted entry cannot accept the prize we will move to the next highest voted entry and so on.    
You can only appear in the shortlist once. 
The 10 entries in the short list will have their ‘love’ votes put back to zero ready for the public vote, however all style credits earned through those 'love' votes will be restored after the public vote has finished.

EXTRA NOTES ON ELIGIBILITY
Unfortunately due to local laws you are not eligible for entry to this competition if you are a resident of Spain, Italy, France, or Germany.
To enter you must add your blog details to your Fashion Finder profile. All entries without a valid blog link on their profile will be removed from consideration during the shortlist process.   
To be considered for the short list your entry must be a full-length photograph of yourself.
ASOS staff and agencies are not permitted to enter this competition.

It is possible to enter more than once if you’re feeling creative, but please be aware that you cannot win more than one prize level within each competition. By submitting your entry, you warrant that your entry is an original work, belongs to you and has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entity.

JUDGING:
Most of our competitions are open to subjective interpretation, therefore they will be judged by an independent judge or a panel including one independent judge. In these cases all entries received by the closing date stated on the promotional material will normally go through a shortlist process and the winners will be selected by the judge(s) from the shortlist. 
If we run a competition with a prize draw, then winners will be selected from all the valid qualifying entries by a random draw.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize.

WINNERS:
You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. We will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact you. In some circumstances you will need to provide a valid delivery address in order to receive your prize.
If you are a potential winner, we will contact you at the email address you provided and/or through the Fashion Finder messaging service within 7 days of the closing date of the competition, and may ask you to verify your personal details. If you have not replied within 48 hours or you don’t meet the eligibility requirements we mentioned above, we reserve the right to withdraw a potential prize.

PRIZES:
Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative except at the sole discretion of ASOS.
Prizes are subject to availability and may be subject to a sponsor’s or supplier’s terms and conditions, which will be communicated in the competition promotional material. We reserve the right to amend prizes or the terms of the competition if the need arises. 
In the case where event tickets are awarded as a prize, it is not possible to sell or give these on to a third party. Unless otherwise stated, travel and/or accommodation will not be provided for the event. If you are unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited and retained to be distributed to the next placed entry. 
If your prize involves travelling to another country, it is your responsibility to arrange visas if necessary. We do not have any information on travel visas, nor will we become involved in the arrangement of these.
If your prize involves attending an event, be aware that unless otherwise stated we accept no responsibility for the organisation or monitoring of the event.
