Competition Terms & Conditions

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR FESTIVAL OUTFIT COMEPTITION WITH T IN THE PARK AND ASOS FASHION FINDER.

Note: These special terms and conditions override the competition general terms and conditions if there is any conflict between them.

COMPETITION DATES: 
This competition opens at 09:00 (GMT) on 28 May and closes midnight (GMT) on 14 June 2012.

THE CRITERIA: 
To enter the competition create an outfit inspired by the festival season and T in the Park; adding your own personal touch and trend-led inspiration. Each outfit must be given a title and description that explains the personal interpretation they have given the outfit. If we love it, you could be in with a chance of winning one of the following prizes:
- 1 x 1st Prize:  The Residence Package – luxury living at T in the Park. Includes 2x VIP weekend tickets to T in the Park plus boutique accommodation in The Residence
- 1 x 2nd Prize: £150 ASOS.com vouchers
- 1 x 3rd Prize: £50 ASOS.com vouchers
The competition will be judged on the criteria that the entrant has understood the theme and translated it to be unique to them.

PRIZES:
1st prize includes the following:
A VIP weekend break for 2 at T in the Park; including luxury accommodation in the festival’s boutique camping area The Residence, with a prize value of £2,650. This includes a 2 person Suite Hut – a log cabin which includes its own en suite shower room, flushing toilet and hot running water, duvets and fresh linen, TV & DVD player, iPod dock and fridge (more info here http://www.tinthepark.com/residence/). Also included would be 2 VIP weekend tickets, access to the VIP hospitality bar in the main arena, as well as access to the Residence facilities (café bar and spa).
The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize.
All prize winners will be contacted by ASOS via the email address registered to their ASOS Fashion Finder account. 
All prizes will be sent/confirmed by T in the Park, please contact the T in the Park Press Office at Material_UK for all queries regarding the prize. 
Prize package is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative.

Coach transport will be included up to the value of £120 – transport will be provided direct to T in the Park from a selection of departure depots from which coach transport to T in the Park is offered.  Any travel costs involved in transport to and from the selected coach depots will not be covered.
T in the Park takes place 6-8 July 2012 at Balado, Kinross-shire, Scotland. 
Winners will be contacted in week commencing 25 June 2012.

JUDGING 1ST & 2ND & 3RD PRIZES: 
All entries received by midnight on 14 June 2012 will go through a shortlist process. Shortlisted outfits will be selected by the ASOS Fashion Finder editorial team. The winners will be selected from the shortlist by a judging panel comprised of the Fashion Finder Editor Kelly Bowerbank, Fashion Finder Brand Manager Jemma Pronger, a T in the Park representative and an independent judge.

EXTRA NOTES ON ELIGIBILITY
Unfortunately due to local laws this competition is open to UK residents only.
Winners will be asked to provide a copy of their passport to prove age and UK residency. 
ASOS staff, T in the Park staff and related agencies are not permitted to enter this competition.

It is possible to enter more than once if you are feeling creative, but please be aware that you cannot win more than one prize level within each competition. By submitting your entry, you warrant that your entry is an original work, belongs to you and has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entity.

JUDGING:

Most of our competitions are open to subjective interpretation, therefore they will be judged by an independent judge or a panel including one independent judge. In these cases all entries received by the closing date stated on the promotional material will normally go through a shortlist process and the winners will be selected from the shortlist by the judge(s).

If we run a competition with a prize draw, then winners will be selected from all the valid qualifying entries by a random draw.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize, and the prize is non-transferable.

WINNERS:

You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date contact details. We will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact you. In some circumstances you will need to provide a valid delivery address in order to receive your prize.

If you are a potential winner, we will contact you at the email address you provided and/or through the Fashion Finder messaging service within 7 days of the closing date of the competition, and may ask you to verify your personal details. If you have not replied within 48 hours or you do not meet the eligibility requirements we mentioned above, we reserve the right to withdraw a potential prize.

PRIZES:

Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted for a cash alternative except at the sole discretion of ASOS.

Prizes are subject to availability and may also be subject to a sponsor’s or supplier’s terms and conditions, which will be communicated in the competition promotional material. We reserve the right to amend prizes or the terms of the competition if the need arises.

In the case where event tickets are awarded as a prize, it is not possible to sell or give these on to a third party. Unless otherwise stated, travel and/or accommodation will not be provided for the event. If you are unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited and retained to be distributed to the next placed entry.

If your prize involves travelling to another country, it is your responsibility to arrange visas if necessary. We do not have any information on travel visas, nor will we become involved in the arrangement of these.

If your prize involves attending an event, be aware that unless otherwise stated we accept no responsibility for the organisation or monitoring of the event. We shall not be liable for any event that is cancelled by a third party.
