Meet Our Spotlight

We’re not going to lie to you. We’re a little bit in love with CarrieWish, the fashion blogger behind WishWishWish. Why else would we let her take over ASOS Fashion Finder for a whole week? From the 17th-23rd of September Carrie will create and star in features across the site. She’ll choose her fave style steals from the shop, curate your Looks and Outfits, plus spot trends at London Fashion Week, all the while nailing that cuter-than-cute kooky vibe that’s so tricky to pull off. She reminds us of Zooey Deschanel - but with a dollop of British eccentricity - and seriously, what’s not to love about that?

Favorite Look

Chelsea Girl

I love the vintage vibe, so pairing this flirty leopard print dress with a wide-brimmed hat and a pair of ASOS Chelsea Boots seemed obvious! I added a pop of berry with my socks (you can just see peeking out) as a nod to this season’s Very Berry trend. This is the kind of outfit you can wear anywhere – which is what I love about it. I try to make all my looks to be as versatile as possible!

Chelsea Girl

Boat Neck Dress by Orla Kiely: This dress is perfection! The shape is flattering and the colours are timeless.

Boys Sweater by Zoe Karssen: I love Zoe Karssen’s cheeky tees and sweatshirts – I’ve got my eye on this one to snap up next!

T-bar Ballet Flats by See by Chloe: I’m not a big fan of heels, so love good quality, versatile flats. These t-bars from See by Chloe are no exception.

Q & A:

What are your wardrobe workhorses?

A selection of good bags, shoes and hats! I’m forever wearing dresses, so it’s important to be able to change up the look with a different coloured bag or shoes.

How would your friends decribe your style?

Cutesy and a bit quirky, with a bit of tomboy thrown in for good measure.

Fave fashion reads?

Wish magazine, my own little project, of course! My favourite blogs at the moment are What Olivia Did, Park & Cube, and my friend’s new venture, Dearest Deer!

Earliest fashion memory?

I remember being in love with a deep red velvet dress when I was about 4 or 5. I was devastated when it didn’t fit me any more. Although I now have one in my wardrobe that is eerily similar!

Whose style do you admire?

I love the style of '60s French film stars! Anna Karina is my idol. Her hair, her makeup, her clothes – they are all things I try and emulate from time to time.
