Meet Our Spotlight

With the season of love soon upon us, it seemed only right that this week's Spotlight star is a true romantic when it comes to their sartorial picks. Katie aka coeursdefoxes is the epitome of feminine fashion, with a perchant for florals, cutesy prints and motifs, we love her take on modern girl glamour. Her gallery of looks includes enviable accessories and peter pan collars a-plenty, so with Valentine's Day around the corner enjoy this early V-Day treat from us courtesy of coeursdefoxes fabulous fashion.

Come on Baby

I was in the mood to put together a really girly outfit, so double prints with hearts and lip motifs seemed a must. These both remind me so much of love and which girl isn't in love?! It's very cold outside, so I also wanted to make it cosy. It's an outfit you could wear for a date, but also when you are home with friends. I like details the most; the flower in my hair and lace collar complete the outfit and makes it unique to me.

Come on Baby

Camilla and Marc Jumper: The studs toughen up this jumper and stop it from being too cutesy - it's the perfect mix.

Mulberry Mini Alexa Bag: It is a dream of mine to own this bag! It's the perfect size and colour for all occasions.

Crown and Glory Headband: I love to wear flowers in my hair and this is such a pretty way to do it.

Q & A:

What key piece could you not live without?

I wear shorts and skirts a lot, so I couldn't live without tights. There's a thing about tights that no matter whether it's cold or warm, you can wear them and you always feel good, comfortable and stylish.

What new season trends are you looking forward to this S/S’13?

I'm waiting on all those cutesy pastels spotted on the catwalk. I really like feminine details like flowers, appliqué and frills, so I think the ultra girly trend is going to inspire me the most during S/S'13.

What is your most prized fashion possession?

First thing I have in my mind are all my special designer pieces like my vintage Chanel bag, which only makes an appearance on special occasions, but then I think about my much-loved collection of Dahlia's dresses. It's a tough choice...

Fave fashion reads?

I read so many blogs, but my must-read list includes: Shiny Thoughts, Pine Needle Collective, Fashion Mirror, Kitten Hood, Flashes of Style, Of Corgis and Cocktails, Alice Boullin and Mermaidens.
