Though we hold bold, evening looks on a pedestal, when it comes to our daily fashion choices, it’s all about wearability. What’ll make for a better wardrobe workhorse, that fluoro lace mini or a pair of skinnies? This week’s spotlight, Dress Me Perfect, definitely veers towards the latter, proving once and for all that you don’t have to go all out glam to hit the major trend notes. Using candy colours and lace, she brings jeans, blazers and our personal fav, the fit ‘n’ flare dress, up to new season speed with just a click of her well heeled shoes (court, since you asked. I love how simple this outfit is and how easy it is to wear. Great looks don’t have to be over complicated, just a few simple pieces can be as effective. I chose my outfit by how I feel, so I will put my dress on and build around it with accessories and colour. I like to mix and match with different pieces and go with my instincts on that day. I visualise how I want to look and feel, and how I want to be seen by others.
