Anyone who’s been on Pinterest lately knows that fancy manicures are having a major fashion moment. And so is Heather, the nail artist and blogger behind effiesmakeupbox. On a canvas of classic black t-shirts and denim cut-offs, she juxtaposes camo with digi-mirror prints and tropical florals with heavy- duty studs. Her vivacious approach to dressing elevates wardrobe basics to things of beauty, which guarantees her a 'pin' on our boards.

I really like prints at the moment, especially tropical prints, hence why I love these trousers so much! Because they're so bright, I wanted to keep everything else pretty simple, so I opted for my trusty black crop top, black leather belt and flatform boots. I've never been much of a 'girly girl', so I like how my accessories toughen up the florals in this look.

What are your wardrobe workhorses?

My wardrobe staples are definitely my Vans; they are my go-to everyday shoe. They are so comfy and go with everything.

Best blogger reads?

Without a doubt; Strutt, Sweet Monday and Le Happy are my must-have blogger reads everyday.

How would your friends describe your style?

They'd say grunge, but I’m not sure. I really like the sports luxe trend for S/S'12, but day-to-day my friends are probably right, I'd fall into the grunge category.

Whose style do you admire?

I love Charlotte Free's style; she always looks perfect. I love her thrown together, '90s grunge look and that hair...wow!
