Meet Our Spotlight

It's always très exciting to see a familiar face pop up in the 'Looks Most Recent' section . Mademoiselle Robot, aka MelleRobot, aka Laetitia, the Paris-born, London-based journalist and blogger, is known and loved the world over and really needs no introduction (um, other than this one, obvs). Her global style stardom is down to her insightful commentary and inimitable dress sense, which we think of as offbeat WWII wife channeling a Japanese prepster. In a word, c’est chic!

Space Dress

I was sent the dress by the ASOS.com press team and even though I love it, it is totally out of my comfort zone! It was a bit of a challenge to style it... Since the dress is already quite a statement, I tried to keep the accessories simple. The bag brings a touch of complementary colour and the shoes are there without being overly present. I would wear this to a party or a dinner.

What are your wardrobe workhorses?

I can’t live without great shirts - my favourite are from Equipment, a nicely cut pair of skinny black trousers and some stacked heel ankle boots. Oh and a Breton top or ten!

How would your friends decribe your style?

Quite Parisian, with a hint of silliness.

Fave fashion reads?

For blogs I mostly read my friends’, so July Stars, Lola is Beauty and Park & Cube.

Dream fashion trolley-dash

I’d ransack Chloe Sevigny’s wardrobe, then move on to Tilda Swinton’s.

Whose style do you admire?

My grandmother had the best style, she's very rebellious and quite tomboyish.
