Citing girl-of-the-moment, Zooey Deschanel, as her style inspiration certainly gets this week's spotlight, Temp Sec, the fash-gal seal of approval. But we love how she's taken the screen star's off-beat style sensibilities and totally made them her own. Her mix of feminine florals and kooky accessories is part pretty sweet part novelty, ticking off two top looks for Spring. Sure, boutique owner, Temp Sec, is a fan of the New Girl, but her look is definitely that of a seasoned style pro.

My look was inspired by this picture of Zooey Deschanel; I love her style! With such a fun and quirky graphic, I think a little tongue-in-cheek is the only way to wear this t-shirt. T-shirt's don’t have to be boring, I wanted to show that you can incorporate a simple tee into a cool and fashionable outfit without much effort. The novelty sunglasses? I just saw them and knew I had to buy them!

Mouse bag at ASOS: I’m a bag addict...I have all kinds of them in varied colours and styles, but surprisingly I don’t own anything as cute as this mouse bag. It’s adorable!

Floral dress at Dahlia: I am a Dahlia girlfriend and blog for them once a month, this was the dress I chose for the upcoming March post.

Disney watch at ASOS: I found this while I was creating an outfit on Fashion Finder. I had a similar one when I was younger so treated myself last week.

I couldn’t live without blazers; they transform any outfit in an instant and are a quick solution that makes it look like you've made an effort! Throw one over a Summer dress and you have the perfect look for Spring.

I love Diamond Canopy by Winnie. We are both British born Chinese so I find her blog very relatable. I never miss her updates, especially her travel and food posts. I am also a regular reader of Sailor Jennie and Flashes of Style.

Dream trolley-dash?

It would be the very fashion-conscious Cher Horowitz from the '90s movie Clueless. Her revolving wardrobe was amazing and the computer she had to match up her clothes was so ahead of its time. She’d fit right in on ASOS Fashion Finder!
